but i am sure you will be great with the nissin, i am actually a bit jealous. they are really highly adjustable and look great. I may even switch to one next year, if i can afford it.
there are sort of two concepts that overlap a little , the bent leg low feet like the prasch and tessier. and the striaghter higher feet like the KB, RPC, etc. the nissin is sort of part way between.
like i said, from what i could deduce from the photo (which isnt much) the change isnt dramatic in terms of geometry. I feel it will be very similar but an improvement in term of the engineering.
In fact i predict the pivot points will be the same.
A friend has been talking about making a rig based on the prasch pivot points but out of lighter materials etc. a project for the summer.

The Nissin, HOC and Scarver all seem to sit pretty high off the snow. My main concern is getting up from a fall. I want to be as independant as possible and I worry about this with the tall rigs.

The end of next week is now the end of this week. Last week I said the end of next week. It is now next week. But it is not the end of next week.

My quick review is that it looks nice. An improvement on the current model but not a redesign. Expensive.
