330Bhp, and you are still only allowed to do 70mph on the roads, such a shame! :)

We have a Renault Laguna 1.8 16v, but will be changing it next year to a 2.0 16v turbo.

Now I know about the VAT scheme for disabled owners, I'll get an extra wide door hinge put on the passenger door, and get then to drop the VAT. You can also get servicing and repairs VAT free as well I think.

Regards

Simon.

Well, I would quite fancy something really powerful, I settled for a VAT free Kangoo this year. I thought the rear door being sliding might make wheelchair loading easier.

Have a look at http://www.paultons..../wheelz/kangoo/ if you wopuld like to see hjow it worked out.

I've got a nice car too...

'98 BMW M3 automatic 4 door... only 250 BHP, but it should do 150 mph (though I've never tried...)

My husband drives a Chevrolet Z71 with a 3 inch body lift on it. It also has huge mud tires! He had to get one of those seats that comes out and down to the ground so he can get in. He also has a wheelchair lift in the back with a camper shell over it b/c the truck is too big to pick up the chair from in the truck.
It is actually at the shop right now becoming handicapp accessible for him to drive it!

Boys and Girls try out the DSG gear box from vw/audi group. A semi auto (no clutch) with paddles/sport mode/manual/auto modes. In the Golf gti it is 0.4 seconds quicker to 0-60 mph than its manual Golf gti equivalent.

Hi i don't have a car but i'm looking vary hard for one. around 5,000-7,000 4 Cylinders, 1999 or newer, I would love a MANUAL Transmission but the only kind of hand controls that i can find are about 5,000!! (thats about what i want to spend on a car)http://www.accessunl...rivematic.html. And also this is my first car after my SCI, and i'd like to hear from you about the Differences in hand controls, and what kind you like and why. thank you.

I wouldnt worry 2 much about either manual or auto, both can be as good as each other.I have had both but it depends on the car you want, some models dont come in automatic as my subaru didnt as it is a limited edition of a 1000.Look around and see what you like and go from there.

Chris...dude...nice.... :badmood:

Well I'm waiting to go back driving and can't wait when I do. :P I like something fast or Hummers. But right now, I'm just riding shotgun on my dad's ride (which requires me to get out of my chair, and I can't even get in the ride by myself, but it's all good, that's what friends (my dad's men) and my dad are good for lol jkjk :censored:) His ride? A HMMWV (High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle), for going around the base or what not or when he's not on duty. Sometimes he can get different ones but mostly the M1025 or the M1026. Sorry I couldn't get actual pictures, I asked him for pictures, but he said it's "classified" so here's some I found on the web, as soon as they de-classify the pictures, I'll show it to you guys.
