Debs,
I'm going to see GM at the NEC in December as well!
Mainly for my wife though, she's more of a fan than me, and because we got good seats and parking!
What are your seat numbers?
I think our seats are 29-30, which are good.

I think we're there on the 2nd.
When you get there, show your blue badge to a carpark marshall and ask him where disabled parking is. You'll then be given parking outside the entrance.
The disabled seats are at the front to the side, on an elevated platform. There is a disabled toilet at the bottom of the ramp, but make sure you have your RADAR key to use it, if not, ask a steward.
The higher the numbered seat the better, as the lower numbered seats can be beside the stage, and your view may be obscured by gear/speakers.
I've marked the wheelchair area and toilets on the diagram below.
Now, I have to go and sit in the sun!

NEC Arena has probably the best wheelchair area of any arena I've been to in UK. Better than the Birmingham NIA, Nottingham, Sheffield Hallam, Manchester MEN (terrible!!!!) and dare I say even the newly revamped Wemley arena where I was last night in a good dibbly spot but even then I asked to be moved. Sorry but if I'm so tightly packed in that I face in to the audience I can't twist enough to see the stage like a walkie can on a normal seat. Only saving grace for Wembley was that if you need your helper to help you - don't be silly of course you do - they get in for free! So £150 for 2 tickets was all of a sudden £75!
I do however not like the clinical way at all venues we are separated from the crowd - I know health & safety issue - but i much prefer the NEC Arena when I'm on the floor and even though the view may be patchy the atmosphere is soooo much better.
I'm off to Manchester MEN Arena next week - behind stage at £45 a ticket x 2 is £90 - but will be separated from my other half who I will want to fondle during smoochy songs. He'll stand up and stand behind me
Anyone not able to make use of wheelchair George Micheal Tickets at NEC - contact me!!!!
