I've been posting here a few times and having a hard time finding any Texans in my area to chat with so I just created this new blog so come join and take a look at http://www.texasparaplegics.com/
It's called "Texas Paraplegics.com" and is not intended to discriminate against those not paraplegics or if they live in other states. You are all very welcome to join and visit as well. I named it this so the search engines would find it when searching for paraplegics and texas. I also hope to meet fellow Texans to hopefully get a face to face meeting someday. We can also give advice on how to help Texans get assistance since we have no knowledge of other states programs.
Anyway welcome all and I hope you come contribute and get to know me and each other.
GOD bless you all!!

Word, paraarcher!
I have noticed that there are 4 or 5 members here that state they are in Texas currently. I think this is a great idea!
As a fellow Texan, thanks!

That's not what DARS stands for, and am more than just a little offended by what you wrote there. I don't think that is how Texans need to be perceived. Count me out, unless you clean it up.

Wiggy, this is paraarcher's spouse. He asked me to type a formal apology for offending anyone by that remark about DARS. He agrees that he shouldn't have let his own experiences color his blog, and he appreciates your mentioning this. It was not meant to be a racial slur. He only said that because there are no white people working in our local branch, and every time he requested something he was rejected....along with a definite impression that they were talking down to him. He's corrected this in his blog.
Thanks again!
