We should get some snow in Mammoth on Monday.

Devin and Pete, very clever. By law, we can't say we hate you until you're actually on the slopes. This is exquisite Chinese snow torture. Ohhhh, it feels good.

Ahh, I can't wait! I'm leaving for So Cal on Thursday and we're heading up to Mammoth at some point in the next few days after that. Can't wait! My new sit ski should be there sometime next week and I'm beyond stoked to try it out! Devin, I'll have to give you my number over on Facebook so we can ski together!

I'm excited for the ski season as well. I sent out my shocks to get rebuilt...hopefully with rebound and compression adjustability, purchased new bindings, and working on buying two new skis.

Pete -- I got the Revolution Pro Comp SS from Freedom Factory. And the frame is pink LOL! Having my own gear is AMAZING. We're still working on tweeking it a bit to make it perfect but I love it so far. Skiing on a K2 Enemy ski which I'm also liking. I'm heading back to Mammoth next week after 3ish weeks of being away and I've been hearing they've got some really nice snow right now. Plus DSES http::/www.disabledsportseasternsierra.org has some awesome new instructors this season for anyone who's wanting to get out to Mammoth and ski with an adaptive program. DSES is incredible. As an aside, they have their big annual fundraiser coming up this weekend called the Island Extravaganza and you can also buy raffle tickets online (without needing to be present at the fundraiser) and the prices include ski gear. The grand prize is a trip for two to Maui. Amazing! Trade the sit ski for a surfboard!

Cool! That's a good design. You'll need to post some pictures skiing with it. I've skied 5x this year. Utah has been getting a lot of snow early in the season. Co'mon out sometime!

Have fun!!!

I've got some pics up on my Facebook of it, I'm looking forward to using it again when I'm back in Mammoth sometime right before Christmas. Definitely love Mammoth and you'd think I'd be used to the cold since I live in Toronto but I'm more excited to be in San Diego next week LOL. Mammoth is awesome, have you ever been?

When I was a stand up skier, I skied Mammoth once. I used to hang glide just south of there when I lived in the San Diego area. Beautiful country. I can't believe I managed to get my college education living in So Cal. So much to do. So much fun. I miss it. But if I moved from Utah, I missed the mountains here. I need to inherit a lot of money and buy me a jet plane and commute back and forth. And while I'm at it, buy me a new spinal cord too.

Pete

PS: why are you up so early in morning?

For me, I think ski season officially started today. This was my fourth day out but also marked the second day out on my new rig and ski. For the most part.... loved it!!! Definitely the best skiing I have ever done :)

Hi mexpipe, take a look over here, the forum below has attracted most of the sitskiers. Keep looking at both forums, this one is a great resource.
