What type of wheelchair do you have?
-Lightweight/sports
What make is your wheel chair? (E.g. Cyclone, Quickie etc.)
Quickie / TiLite
How much did your wheelchair cost?
-£1000 +
What size front wheels do you have?
4" & 5"
If you use smaller wheels, have they ever become stuck on uneven or bogy terrain?
-Yes
Do you use different size front wheels for different occasions/conditions?
-Yes
Would you like to be able to switch between large and small front wheel sizes at the push of a button?
-Yes
You should be aware that over anything other than very hard ground the width of the front castors is even more important than the size.
Changing the front wheels isn't terribly difficult (5 minute job) - it's changing everything else that goes with it - seat bucket, seat back angle, castor leg angle etc that makes changing castor size on the same wheelchair so impractical. Having said I use different size castors (front wheels) for different conditions that's only by using different wheelchairs.

Thanks for the info russ
I'm fairly new to all this wheelchair stuff as my mobility is gradually declining so couldn't help my little bro much, and he couldn't really say he was only designing a product just for my needs for his A levels, mass marketing and making money etc count for marks too!
