I have just returned from Scotland where it was P****** down for days. I ended up needing to buy a waterproof to keep me dry.
Q- what do you guys/gals do in the rain? How do you keep dry?

I'm sorry to hear you got wet in Scotland. You must havebeen on the wrong side. We have had some lovely weather in Fife recently with only an odd shower. Oh, and it looks great today too!
As to how to keep dry, well, a long time ago, when I was a student (OK, graduated in 1996) I bought a waterproof cape from Rolli Moden which covers everything up well and is very practical. However it does depend on how wet things are whether I wear it. I hate getting out and trying to push and not being able to stop in heavy rain so I tend to wait from somewhat drier conditions before taking to the streets. In less wet conditions I use a water proof jacket and let the trousers dry later though I have waterproof trousers too.
I suppose I am just not keen on being out in the rain

Goretex Jacket, Goretex Trousers and a waterproof cushion cover for me. Just the same as I'd wear pre injury. I've seen the wheelchair capes and while I'm sure they work ok (as long as there's no wind), call me vain but they just look like something your granny would use. I've been out watching football (my son plays) and Rugby (Wasps season ticket holder) all winter in all conditions and as long as you've got the right clothes you stay dry and comfortable.
It's worse if you just want to nip out to the shops or the like as getting togged up for that just doesn't seem worth it.
