We have designed a set of hand controls to fit any kart that can be quickly and easily installed and removed. As we set up karting events for injured troops, we needed to be able to go to any kart track in the country, fit our hand controls and remove them afterwards so karts reverted back to normal. Our hand controls allow karts to be driven with one hand (left or right) or both hands. More info about our project and our hand controls on our web site – www.KartForce.org.

If you’re interested in purchasing a set of these hand controls feel to contact me – dave@kartforce.org. These funds will contribute to our project to get more injured troops involved in karting.

Here's a video of ex-Formula 1 racing driver Johnny Herbert putting a kart through it's paces with my hand controls. This clearly demonstrates that using these hand controls allows us to compete on a totally level playing field with able-bodied racers...

Here's another great video. A British soldier that lost both legs and his right arm in Afghanistan racing a kart with only 1 hand...

I've tried karting with traditional hand controls and this looks like great stuff. Nothing against helping the injured troops, but why not make this available to anyone with paralysis / missing limbs?

My project is aimed at injured troops (I'm ex-Army) but as more kart tracks come on board and buy hand controls, anyone can go to the tracks and enjoy karting with the hand controls. I get enquiries from all over the world asking to purchase our hand controls, so happy to sell them to anyone. Soon there'll be a list of tracks on our web site that have our hand controls. If your local track is interested, get them to contact me - dave@kartforce.org
