My new office at work is very nice, only its also boiling hot. It is glass fronted and south? facing, anyway whatever way it faces it gets the sun ALL day. I realised today that I dont tend to notice if Im feeling overly hot. Others do as I tend to get very red looking, flushed and generally hot. I only knew today when someone came in and said it was a greenhouse! Should this be a problem as I only have a low level of injury, T11/10, if so how do I know Im getting too hot? What can I do about it? I cant open the windows as I cant get to them so unless one of my collegues can do it Im scuppered. Having said that its pretty warm even with the windows open. My boss is away til wednesday and hes a decent guy who really wants to get everything right for me. So really my questions are, how do I know if Im getting too hot, and what should I reccomend to him?
Cheers

First of all I'd get fan and possibly a thermometer. Then, when your boss returns, maybe mention Air-conditioning ?
I'd rather be cold than hot !
Hope you get it sorted soon.

Yes, Lucy, get a thermometer and keep an eye on it. When your boss gets back see if you can get him to organise soe means for opening your windows even if it amounts to there being some other member of staff assigned to help on this. That would give you a short-term solution to the problem.
In the lonbger term you might be better seeing if there is any other area you could work that is not quite so much in the sun.
