Another great idea Rue.. ;-) Thank you.. ;-)

Hey, that's an idea.

6 children, 6 sets using the pryamid system of training, starting with high reps with the lighter child and dropping the reps as the next child needs lifting.

mmm, now that way I could call to all the LONELY house wives and offer my services to get them in shape.

We could call it "Woofies Weekly Workout"......

Crazy bugger.

Best of luck with your efforts, girls. Tried the glyx diet yet?

hahaha WOF! :P

No, the only diets I have tried are the ones that fail...lol I do like taking B6 and B12 in addition to my multi-vitamin, I seem to have better luck when I take them. I didn't take the B-vitamins with me to FL last week and I can tell a huge difference in my body (plus, I ate enough for a month lol) and I think I gained 10lbs!

Slimmers of the world!

I have a great recipe for chicken or (quorn fillets which need to be marinated for longer)

plain yoghurt (my preference is low fat greek style as any left over is good with fruit see below)
cajun spice mix, the one I use is Schwartz

Mix the spice well in to the yoghurt; I like mine hot and spicy so get a nice peachy colour with the spice and yoghurt mix, use enough to encase the chicken/quorn. Marinate the chicken over night or as long as you can. Grill the chicken evenly on both sides until it is cooked. I cut it in half to check the flesh is white and not pink as I do not time these things but I usually check after each side has had 7 mins or so for a medium sized breast 180g or so.

et voila! delicious chicken or quorn to go in any slimmers meal regardless of what type of diet regime you follow as it can be adapted. I am not following a diet as such, at present, but I do try to eat a healthy and balanced meals.

You might find Leanne's Chair Workout worth a look. I got a copy a few years back but it's been so long since I watched it that I can't give a proper recommendation now, I'm afraid (not a reflection on the DVD, just that life took a different turn & I had to focus on other matters)

I bought this and I love it! One transfer, I use the leg weights and put my feet behind them for stability or I spread them wide on the floor. Also, you could put a belt around your chest if you needed more upper body stability. Anyway, you can do a LOT in one spot on this machine. Love it!! http://www.walmart.c...System/17164463

I also bought the Gold's Gym Boxing Work-out for the Wii and it makes you sweat!! It takes a lot to make me sweat and that does it! It is very good!

I know this thread is for you ladies and I know you will hate me but since my SCI, I weigh about 40 pounds less that pre SCI. Right after my SCI, I spent about 1.5 months in the hospital and rehab and they served hospital food which didn't always taste that good and was small portions even if it did taste good. So I left the hospital with an already "shrunken" stomach. Since the SCI, I just don't seem to get all that hungry. I thought maybe it affected my ability to get hungry.
