Hi
I'm pretty new here so not really sure if this has been covered, but I am organising a dinner dance for march and need to wear an evening dress...this was enough of an issue when vertical but add in a major tetra tum and pancake thighs and its a nightmare.
I've never been super skinny (I'm around a UK 14/16), but I'm tall (5 ft 9/10) and used to rely on my stomach muscles quite alot (I'm C7 so they're long gone, boooooo.) Anyways....
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with corsets to control the tetra tum. I've tried my binder but it just rolls up and is a bit useless. I was thinking an underbust corset??
Any help would be great :)
cheers

Every body type is different, tetra/para stomach's or not. I'd suggest you go try on a few before you buy. A corset may or may not be the thing for you. Me personally, they crawl up and never sit right for more than a few minutes. Another good option is a high waist slim skirt.

I've never tried a corset but there are a couple of options that may work. What about body control underwear or a dress that has bones in the upper part around bust and abdomen? You don't want to be uncomfortable either!
Everything will be alright in the end, if it's not alright then it's not the end!

I've got 2 corsets, just make sure they aren't too tight if you have reduced or no sensation. They are underbust and I wear them over shirts or vests.

empire waisted dresses are good for hiding a tummy and get one long enough to cover your legs. you should look smashing and be comfortable.

hi fellow gimps! i'm a c 6/7 quad and have been injured since 1986. i was in a roll over hydroplane accident and it took hours for the paramedics to get me out of the car in the pouring rain. that definately wasn't my day. but alas life goes on!

Thanks guys!
I hit the sales with a friend the other day and actually found two gorgeous dresses (Its usually hard enough just finding one, let alone two so I was very happy....plus I saved a cool £210 :toast: )
Just need to find some belly control now but from whats been said I guess I'll have to look around a bit and try a few things
:)

Happy New Year!
