Hi There

My name is 'Nicky and I am an incomplete C3-C4. I have just started playing wheelchair rugby for the wolverhampton rhinos and soon to be in a new North Wales Squad. ( Wheelchair rugby is a mixed gender game, however, it's mainly male dominated).

This is a plea to anybody around the North West Wales area who would be interested in being a part of this adventure.

We are looking for players, helpers/volunteers and supporters to help make this happen.

Please feel free to email me for any more info.

I am attaching a link for you to view of the last tournament that took place.

( Rhinos are in black)

also check out the new dvd that came out called murderball, this is a superb film/documentary following the squads leading up to the last paralympics in Athens. It shows u what the game is all about.

look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested

kind regards

Nicky :scooter:

Hi Nicky

i'm sorry i can't offer to help because we live in south england but i just thought i would like to wish you luck and i hope the new squad gets off the ground soon.

w/c rugby is a great sport, we first saw it at the paralympics in athens and my husband is training to be a ref. (he isn't always the most popular guy on court). my son (10) and i often go to the weekends and help with stuff. he will be at the nationals, my son and i can't go to that but we will be around next season.

we don't have a local team, we need more teams so the best of luck

give my regards to the pirates

debbie
