Hello,
I'm now 24 weeks pregnant and we know we are expecting a boy! We are so excited! I'm due 30th April but will be having a c section before then. They are going to attempt a spinal anathestic, otherwise they want me to have a general anathestic.
To be honest, it's been really difficult so far, I've had every health problem stir up, so rough! And having one infection/bug after another!
Our baby has a chance of having either/both of the genetic conditions porphyria and or/thalasessemia. At the 20 week scan they also pointed out possible kidney problem which they said common in boys.
Still, I'm still keeping positive and looking forward to meeting him!
Last time I was on, I know there was a few others on here that were expecting a baby. How are you?

Thanks for the update. It's great that you have such a good attitude. I hoping all the problems will resolve themselves and delivery will be smooth sailing.

I'm 32.2 weeks pregnant now. Can't wait to meet him! It's been very tough with complications, but I feel really proud to get this chance to bring a new life into this world.

Congratulations; I know everything will work out. You have such a good attitude. Do you know what form or type of thalassemia it is? I'm sure you are an expert in it by now.

You must be ready to pop. Is there a set date for the delivery?
