please help, im having problems with getting my feet into my shoes. sadly, ive worn crocs for the last 2-3 years, now that im starting school i want better looking shoes. when i try on shoes my toes curl up. i have to take a plastic bag with me to try on shoes and its a little creepy pulling bags outta my pocket and putting them around my toes so my feet will slide into the shoe and my toes wont curl up. is there an orthotic piece out there for toes or does any one else have this problem????

Something I use is a long plastic ruler, for shoes and boots that I can't get my fingers in to straighten my toes, I slide the ruler down and it does the trick for me! I hardly ever try on shoes in the shops, sometime I do but normally I will just buy them and if i get a problem getting them at home I will return them.

Or even a long shoe horn!
Everything will be alright in the end, if it's not alright then it's not the end!

My toes began curling up too much (contracted) so I had to have surgery. They still have a slight curl, but they no longer get pressure sores... and as for shoes, I wear canvas Converse All-Stars. They don't make my feet sweat like leather shoes do.
