It has been really bad lately. I never really gotten this much pain from a spasm near my stomach. When I try to sit up straight I get a huge spasm that pulls me right back down. I can't even stand on my own by myself anymore because it will just pull me right back down.... only after I try to stand a couple of times I can actually stand up straight. Anyone know anything I can do? I see my new doctor on the 20th (10 days from now) but I really don't think it's good for me to just wait it out.

Is it a sign of a UTI that's on it's way? I haven't had one in a very long time. Any feedback would be awesome.

Thanks

Hey Joewee, please contact your doctor for a sooner appointment...I get bladder spasms with UTI's that lead to full body spasms...also get some AD symptoms along with...hope you are OK, but please check with your MD ASAP...take care and let us know how things are going with you...

As well as seeing the Doc. Spend as much time as you can lying on your stomach. It will be difficult to get into position to start with but it will give all those muscles a chance to stretch out. Ideally try to sleep like that.
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me, "Smile and be happy, things could be worse." So I smiled and was happy and behold things did get worse.

I will try my best to sleep on my stomach tonight to stretch out the muscles and such. I mad up my mind and called up my parents and told them that I will be going to the ER if I wake up like this. Very uncomfortable.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will keep you guys updated.

While I have nothing to say against the advice you already have been given,
I have another suggestion which may or may not be relevant.

If you are on a Fentynol patch, the withdrawal symptoms can include stomach spasms.
If this is a problem you might try a lower dosage changed more often or
gritting your teeth and dealing with the withdrawal and not using the patch.
Talk to whoever prescribes your patch.

I think it may have something to do with my bowel movement. I did my business the day after I posted this and I felt better. And thanks to John, I fell asleep on my stomach to stretch the muscles out and such and that definitely worked.
I feel much better now and can do my exercises like normal.

Thanks you for the tips.

Way cool. Thanks for the good news.

I too have lots of difficulties whenever my bowels do not empty often enough. Same problems with bladder if I delay cathing, even though I can pass urine it is not a complete void and after 6 or 8 hours the residue is irritating such that my muscles get tight.
Look! It's a snail! It's a sloth! Able to creep short distances before lunch!
