Hi all,

I've been getting quite a bit of pain in my shoulders lately, and from what I've read, it could be symptoms of problems with my Rotator Cuff.

I get the pain mainly when transfering, at night in bed, and when trying to lift my arm in certain positions.

Pushing my wheelchair does not cause the pain though, neither does bicept curls, deltoid lifts or pushing exercises.

I've found a picture showing exactly where the pain is, see below.

The pain is present in both arms, and similar to the burning pain I get from root pain, which I have had in the same location ever since my injury in 1992. A heat pad does help, and so do exercises, but I don't want to overdo the exercises in case I could be doing more harm than good.

I have talked with my physio at the spinal unit, and should be getting a date for an appointment, but I just wanted some feedback before I go.

Has anyone else had this, and if so, how was it managed?

Thanks

Simon.
