Hi My name is Tony. My wife got in a car accident Jan 5, 2005. She broke her back very bad. Thomas Jefferson in Philadelphia did the repairs. Her right foot has no movement, she can walk with a walker with mafo's on both feet. She has pins and needle feelings in both legs, acually from waist down with some bowl & bladder minimal problems. We are researching nerve transplant for her right foot. This the first inquirey. I read about it in a health and wellness for life book. Can anyone lead us in the right direction. Excuse the spelling. tonyg@netzero.net

Sorry to hear about your wife; I hope things improve. CAn you tell us which vertebrae in her back she fractured? If we know that it might well be easier to answer your question. normally this looks like T6 complete or L1 incomplete.
