:bye: Hi Everyone

My friend has intriduced me to this site and I am soooo happy I found it! It's just what I've been looking for! :D

Ok...where do I start? :dunno: My name's Ali, I'm 24 and live in Newbury, Berkshire. I have Spina Bifida with Kyphoscoliosis and am a wheelchair use. I'm very much a girlie girl, love spending time with friends and have a very dry sense of humour. Can't be sensible for 5 minutes!! Those logos had me in hyterics!! :mfrlol:

I'm due to ba having a Laminectomy in two weeks to untrap some nerves in my spine which  hurt! I generally don't let my disability get in the way of things and I like to muck in with everyone else, but certain aspects of it (like continence and the sexuality issues) do get me down at times but it'll be fab to be able to discuss things with similar people as well as share some laughs!

Bye for now!
Paraplegic with Spina Bifida. Sensory and function level is T8. T11-L5 fusion 1993. Laminectomy and decompression T10 2006. Spinal fusion T8-T12 with instrumentation Feb 2007. Moderate kyphoscoliosis. Taking 75mg Lyrica 3xday for neuropathic pain.
