I would really like to go to the rally in London on march 26th but Id prefer to have someone to travel with as i dont know the area at all. I feel it is very important to take this chance to protest rather than sit and wring our hands waiting for the changes to come. The proposals to DLA are frankly shocking and we shall all lose out substantially when they come into place. Did you know that middle care will go for instance or that you will be assessed on how 'well' you manage with mobility aids? To be honest I have never protested about anything before but I feel so strongly that these cuts will affect really vulnerable people Im willing to travel the 300 miles there and back just to add my voice. I dont want to just sit here and think I did absolutely nothing.
If anyone is interested please let me know.
Cheers

I'm currently too unwell to make the journey but have done a little minor lobbying in this regard and applaud you for making the effort - these cuts are an insult to the human rights of all disabled people in this country.
Good luck for the protest !
