Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,

When funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don't you quit,

Life is queer with its twists and turns,

As everyone of us sometimes learns,

And many a failure turns about,

When he might have won had he stuck it out:

Don't give up though the pace seems slow -

You may succeed with another blow,

Success is failure turned inside out -

The silver tint on the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell how close you are,

It may be near when it seems so far:

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -

Its when things seem worst that you must not QUIT.

I found this poem years ago, can't even remember where, but when I was feeling really cheesed off with Doctors, Solicitors and Barresters today , I opened a cupboard and there it was. After reading it, it put the fight back into my system and the re-newed energy to take them all on and fight another day.

Don't know who wrote it, but it made me feel better, and as I have discovered none of you are quitters, I thought I would re-type it and share it with you all.

Never say never, and definately do not quit, its usually worth the trying in the end.

Hi,

Just about sums it all up for me today. Thanks just what I needed too.

Cheers.

I wish I knew who had written this poem, as I really do find it gives me a renewed energy to fight another day.
