Hi,

I am mum to 9 kids, teenagers and adults. I have five grandchildren three of whom live close by and I spend time with them on a regular basis. For the younger ones they have only ever known me as a disabled person and are completely accepting of it - to the point of mimicking my not very attractive walking with my elbow and gutter crutches. I have been trying to find a uk based company who make toy crutches - the toddlers are always wanting to play with mine, they have walking sticks in the dressing up box and splints made out of cardboard, but I know they would be delighted with crutches that look like the real things.
