For both automatic and manual types:

Do you have strobelights on your chair, aside from speedometers, and cup holders, (machine guns) what other gadgets do you place? Can you share links and photos? What tires do you use?

I am an imcomplete para due to nerve damage. I have no gadgets on my chair as I find when I am in it I draw enough attention just by myself without anything else.

Only know one person with "gadgets" and he has fancy coloured disks weaved through the spokes of his wheels. Too much like customising a car for me.
ALWAYS REMEMBER - The darkest hour is only 60 minutes long and what won't kill you will make you stronger.

cauda equina lesion resulting in lack of ability to walk. Spinal cord undamaged and intact. NOW ABLE TO HOBBLE AROUND ON 2 STICKS AFTER LOADS OF PHYSIO.

Cup Holder,
Quick remove pack for the back of the wheelchair,
Tool or accessory pouch. Keep it small or weight will become a factor.

I used to have Tyrefly's on my valves, lights which flashed when you moved.

Only problem was, when I was sat still, if the valve was at the top of the wheel, I'd flick them with my thumb, untill one night, Psssssssssss!

I split the valve on the innertuber.

I no longer have TyreFly's!

Simon.

I've got flashing light up front castors - were a source of great amusement when I first had them and they worked properly. Other than that I've just got a phone pouch on the front leg.

Oh yeah,

I also have an iPod Nano with an armband.

I strap the armband around my knee so I can press the buttons.

Those chrome wheels are expensive. but will look great. I would'nt mind gettin a pair but at least people wouldnt stare at me anymore because they will be looking at the rims instead. :badmood:

hi dancing dolphin,

I lost track of the thread but as much as I can remember, the cupholders are the ones bought from bicycle shops and then some how customized in the arm rest. I just cant find that thread here. It was just attached with a bolt and nut. Realy cool and comes along with a picture too. (searching)
