Hi. I am doing a research paper on spinal cord injury and I was wondering if anyone that has SCI would be interested in filling out my anonymous survey at http://tonyawinchester.com/SCIQ.html? If you don't want to, that's fine. Not a problem. Just thought I'd ask. I myself have SCI and I am hoping my paper will do some good! Thank you.

I have to collect data from people with new injuries as well. Do any of you have ANY suggestions of how I could collect this data? After my injury, I stayed at a rehabilitation hospital for three months. They have their own spinal cord injury floor. I was hoping that I would be able to go there and collect data but the hospital just told me that I am not allowed to do that so now I am not sure of what to do. If I do not have data from people with new injuries, my research will be incomplete.

Maybe writing something up to give to spinal cord doctors that they could give to their patients. That way it would be up to the patients to iniate talking to you.
You might try the same thing at support groups. We do get newly injured people here, so you might want to introduce yourself to new members.
