Hey,
I was just wondering if anybody else went to the Rehab Institute of Chicago. I was there in late of 03. Let me know how it went for you?

You and I have discussed this before, I think....but I was there in the summer of '03 too. I think I was discharged mid-August. If we met at all, it would've probably been outside in the 'smoker's section'....I was a fixture there whenever I could get by with it.
Remember a young guy they called 'Meat'? He was a nut...in a good way...although the therapists would get frustrated with him as he pretty well did whatever he wanted, trying to avoid all his therapies. He was still there when I left, in fact he was tooling down Lake Shore (?) Drive as I was heading home, and I leaned out to blow him a good-bye kiss. His was a drunk-driving accident, and he was thinking of speaking with HS students about drinking and driving...I think he'd be very effective with that age group, and so I encouraged him in that. I hope he decided to go for it. I often wonder how he's doing now.
