hey everyone

im finally getting my act together and holidaying to LA

wonderin if theres anyone that knows any ventilated quad carers that want work in november

also any recommened hotels

oh and gear hiring hoist, highback commode, maybe a wheelchair van

if i were you i'd post an ad on craigslist to get a caregiver. if that doesn't pan out i'd call a homehealth agency in the area. as far as the equipment you need to rent i'd call a medical supply company and have it delivered to your hotel. same for the hotel just search one of the travel sites most newer hotels are accessible just make sure you book through the hotel directly so you get the correct room you need. wheelchair getaways is a company here in the states that rents w-c accessible vans.

hi fellow gimps! i'm a c 6/7 quad and have been injured since 1986. i was in a roll over hydroplane accident and it took hours for the paramedics to get me out of the car in the pouring rain. that definately wasn't my day. but alas life goes on!
