I call a spade a spade so don't be surprised if it feels like a pitchfork coming your way.

We are a Florida not for profit corp looking to purchase a pre owned dropped floor vehicle for a young woman in Iowa who is on total disability because of cerebral palsy. She has completed some college (she is in early 30's) and would like to obtain a teaching degree. It has become almost impossible for her single mother to maneuver her ind out of a vehicle. We are looking for a used wheelchair accessible vehicle for her. We are not looking for charity but we are looking for the best possible value for the money. Therefore we would prefer to purchase from a private individual.

The corporation has a director who has considerable experience in motor home modifications and is willing to provide the labor on any mini van with a dropped floor. Therefore any custom hardware in the van could be retained for re installing if the present owner wanted to simply upgrade vehicles.

We are new to this site and would appreciate any suggestions or advice to help us in our transportation goals for this young woman.
