So I was looking for tips, I have no sensation in my parts of my torso, and parts of my right leg I can't feel either. Often I have scars, cuts on my body I can't feel. Looking for advice on how to handle this, and possible ways to prevent it.

Only thing you can do is just to make a point of LOOKING before you turn/move......the old "look before you leap" adage.

*Wheelchairs are made of a special ocular magnetic alloy......they're "eyeball magnets".*

Same as Wheelie said, try to look before you move. Even still I get lots of bruises and one time ran my shin into a (non moving) rototiller blade and didn't feel it until it hit the bone. Wish I could give you a better answer.
