I have had this stubborn wound around my sacrum area for the last two years and makes me very uncomfortable.
It is a clean wound, being dressed almost after two days with betadine solution.I have also using actisorb . In 2 different occasions it became septic. I fear for myself,is their anyone with an idea on how to manage and treat the wound. i need help

Hello Anyumba,

Sorry to read about your 2 year old pressure ulcer. There is a new product manufactured by Oculus, Inc. that would probably help you and is named XuSorb Foam. You can read about it here: www.oculusis.com I haven't tried it as I use Microcyn Spray (same manufacturer) for any pressure ulcers I may develop. I hope this is available in your country as this is a new company.

Good luck.

Millard
