Hey there guys,
My name is Oscar Fernandez and I am a final year honours student at the Massey School of Design in Auckland, New Zealand. I am currently working on my final year project, which is to design a product for short term travel outside of the home for wheelchair users, with a specific emphasis on independence and removing social segregation. The project is proving to be really exiting and all that I need to kick of the concept phase for my solutions is some responses to an online survey which I have created which looks into wheelchair users and what they want to see in a product. The survey is only 10 questions long and it would really help me a lot if I could get some responses outside of New Zealand!
The link to my online survey is:

Thanks guys and all the best,
Oscar

Hi Oscar,
My fiance is a t10-11 complete paraplegic and I have built her a modified mobility scooter that allows her to stay in her chair to get from a to b and then get off the scooter and move around more. She uses it to get between her horses paddocks. I would be happy to send some photos of it to you if you were interested?
