  • Spinal Injury Level / Relationship:Paraplegic/sister

Posted 12 June 2006 - 09:15 AM

Hello,

I’m new and I was wondering if someone can help me out with information about rehabilitation. :)

Here’s the case:

My brother is paraplegic, injury at T2 level. The injury happened about a year ago and now he is regaining sensation till his navel, sometimes he feels lower than that. But there is an odd occurrence that his left leg is bent at the knee and will not go down and it has been like this for 5 months now.

Can someone please help me understand why it is like this and how is it possible to relax it?

Whenever we try to lower it down, it reacts by bending back further.

I apologize if this is in the wrong section of the forum.

Thanks
