I've been lifting for about 15 years now and I feel that I am at a point where I could start competing on an amateur level. That said, I was wondering if anyone has competed before and can give some pointers/tips on posing, music for the routine, specific types of oil, or anything else. From what I've been able to find online, it seems that there are only 3 or 4 well publicized tournaments in the US for wheelchair bodybuilders. (Are there more that I'm not aware of? Local ones, maybe?)

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

(Almost forgot, I saw that there were a couple of topics on the same lines as this one, but they were over 2 years old.)

Hi,

You probably already know this site. ttp://www.wheelchair-bodybuilding.com/

Try to contact Nick Scott (he's also on facebook), I'm pretty sure he knows some of the answers of your questions:-). Good luck.

Nick is so intimidating, but also an inspiration. I assumed he would be far too busy to respond to any questions, but I guess it couldn't hurt to try. Thanks. =)
