Hi I am a mom of a quadraplegic C6C7, she recently had major abd surgery doing a bladder agumentation with catherizable stoma. She made it thru the surgery fine .But the question is ,she has the feeling like she is burning up with feeling like she is freezing ,sweating(all at the same time) ,feeling miserable. Anyone out there experience anything like this. It is day 6 since surgery healing well feeling miserable with the abvoe symptoms. Any thought would be helpful

Agree. Sounds like infection.

She has no fever , blood work is good ,stopped pain meds and only gave her Tylenol, restarted pain med she had alittle better night , maybe over the worst , I'm thinking dysreflexia. Thanks for the thoughts sometimes you feel alone ,

sounds like her body was just reacting from the surgery. i have that problem when there is a pain somewhere. example- i've been riding in the car too long w/o proper weight shift or i'm not in my chair just right. i kinda get clammy- hot and cold. but keep an eye out for infection.

try rearranging her body maybe she's just a little off balanced.
