this may be a repeat somewhere else but here goes again.
i'd like you to share anything that has made your life easier.
for example: my BREWSTATION [coffee pot]
i have 2 . one for coffee and one for hot water [used for hot tea, hot chocolate or just hot water w/ lemon]
these coffee pots have a button that you hold your cup to, push and the coffee comes out. you don't have to pick up a hot pot to pour. i can now get my own drinks which to me is more freedom.
they can be purchased at wal-mart.
#2- lock-n-locks
these are plastic containers w/ tabs that lock it shut. the tabs can be opened and closed w/ one hand. they are great for snacks, sandwichs, fruit ,etc. oh yea, if you drop them they don't pop open.
i purchased mine from QVC.com but wal-mart may have them.
get the idea. i'm always looking for things to make my life easier. please share anything that has helped you.

I use a gorilla cart (like heavy duty wheelbarrow) to tow in my groceries, bring in adaptive equipment, and take out garbage. I hook it onto my freewheel clip on my wheelchair towel bar. It used to take me 6-7 trips to bring in groceries - not anymore:)

Remote controlled sockets! Brilliant for so many things that are out of reach but useful to have out of reach!
Lots of types and cheap. Sainsburys did 3 for £5 a couple of weeks back.

Tell the truth, the locks are for the door to your dungeon, obviously no other person in a wheelchair as any hope of escape, and with that in mind I hate to think what you do to poor Woofy with that knife!
Truthfully though I like the look if that knife, I also have some some remote electrical plug sockets that you can put on and off with a wee remote, great for things like power leads with transformers for laptops or bedside lights and things where the socket is low or behind things and the light is usually difficult to reach once you have laid down anyway!

Heavy-duty velcro strap. This is absolutely priceless to me; I use it for multiple purposes but probably the most important would be my wheelchair pullups. This is what I use to secure my body into my chair when I go up and do the pullups. I wrap it around and underneath the frame and then over my lap, secure it nice and good; and I'm good to go. I also use it any time I need to be secure in the position I am in (any pulldown exercise, pullovers, any time I need to secure my legs basically). I use it all the time and don't know what I'd do without it.

Hi MarcB, Thanks for posting the links.
That bed caddy (1st link) would be useful for me too, so I searched for one in the UK. The USA one was priced at $53.59, which is a fair enough price for a bit of plywood and some bent tube.
The same thing in the UK was priced at £72.99 - the equivalent of $115.79. Rip off or what?
Needless to say I will not be buying one.
