anyone knows good place in europe [italy, UK or germany preferrably] where can i buy recycled/refurbished lightweight wheelchair fo my buddy who was wounded few years ago in kosovo? the guy now uses some heavy wheelchair. as he's unemployed two of us his friends decided to buy him a new vehicle.

if there is a good heart willing to donate a chair, he'd be very grateful. i'll pay shipping or arrange pick-up.

I might be able to help you out however I am in the US. If all measures up I would donate the chair to you and you would only need to pay the shipping charges. I'll have to do some checking for you before I can promise anything but in the meantime what chair dimensions do you need? (Seat width & depth) We can go from there.

Hi

I have a 12 old Action rigid framed chair - it was my first ever chair (was well used for about 6 years). Looks a lot like a Quickie GPV. It is lightweight but is in need of renovation (needs a respray, new front castors and new bearings for back wheels, could probably go with some new upholstery too)

Low back (got a hacksaw to it, so it wont adjust) about 10 inches? 16 x 16 inch seat.

You can have it for free if you can come and get it. Based in West Midlands, UK.

PM me if interested
