Doctor gave me Tramadol. Has anyone else ever taken and did it work? 50mg three times a day. Checked it out on line. Doesn't seem like anything too special.

Just took my first one.

took it for bone pain after an ankle operation...It worked for a bit, but wasn't awfully effective. It's pretty much like hydrocodone.

Standard drug of choice for many spinal units. I take 200mg's of the slow release and 50 to 100mgs of the standard one you have been prescribed,.

Don't know if they told you but it will work better if you take paracetamol with it, it helps the uptake of the Tramadol.

Impossible only describes a problem that needs viewed from a different perspective

It has both a long acting and short acting version. It is a medicine to control Spain. I believe it's on te same line as vi Odin or norco but stronger. And used for longer term.

Yes i take it as and when, trouble is it tends to make me feel sick if Im not careful but it does help pain, one of the few Ive found to be effective.

So far I'm happy with it. Luckily it hasn't made me feel sick.

My wife takes Tramadol and it's pretty effective but does turn her stomach at times...I'm told it's a synthetic opiate with no buzz or near the addiction problems...

No constipation also, it didn't do much for my pain but some say it helps.
