Hi. My boyfriend who is T3 since January this year has been given the green light from the rehab unit he is still in to spend a weekend away with me in 2 weeks This will be the first time he has escaped in 4 months and we are so excited. .We want to have a bit of a spree at Bicester Village and are looking for a really nice wheelchair and SCI friendly hotel within a 20 mile ( ish ) radius. I have phoned a couple and so far no go.. either the so called facilities are not suitable or in one case the bed mattress totally useless with inbedded buttons etc.
If anyone can suggest anywhere we would be very grateful

Thank you SJ

Probably too late for you, but...
Depends what you call 'really nice'...
I've stayed in the Holiday Inn Express at Banbury. Usual Holiday Inn styled wetfloor shower-rooms.
As far as bedding I often take a memory foam overlay mattress to put on; very comfy; no buttons. You can get them for a good price on Ebay.
