I had an acupuncturist "read" my ears and was astounded at the spot on diagnosis! Has anyone had experience with acupuncture? My able bodied community is raving about this guy and offered to pay for my treatment but I said I want to ask "my people" about it. Experience, anyone?

Works good for tendonitis, shin splints, etc.

That's the only thing I've found it useful for.....

It was good for making tiny holes in my skin and making my wallet lighter, but did sod - all else.

Hmm, I could get those same results with a staple gun, and I'll charge $10 less than whatever they charge!

No thanks. I´m self-administering using masonry nails. They´re nice and smooth so they come out easy, and don´t bend as I hammer them in.
You should try it. It hurts like hell, but it masks all pain in the untreated parts - at least until the scabs form.

I gett good results with accupuncture IF I have a good practitioner. Ditto for tendonitis.

I have just recently wondered about accupunture myself. It's worth a shot to see if you find any type of relief. It cant hurt and you don't have to go back. What the hell. Go for it and let us know what you think.

Well I HOPE it can't hurt! I told him I wouldn't want to make things worse. Does it work on nerves? How come when I'm stretching my legs in the morning and I touch my stomach or take a deep breath that inflates my stomach my legs buckle up and try to flip me over? My injury was deemed T5/6 complete but I've never had the difference explained. Some say I shouldn't have any sensation or movement if I'm complete...but I have both. I don't know where he sticks needles but I've seen peeps with things all along their ears that you leave in for 24 or 48 hours. Still thinking about it.... :dunno:

I think thatīs to stop you smoking.

The needles didnīt hurt me after knee surgery but some of them did go in a numb area on my leg. Give it a try. What have you got to lose apart from money.

I went to a very highly recommended practitioner,, for 12 visits ( 3 a week for a month,, my normal length of time I'm willing to spend on things that aren't working),,, and it didn't help me with my pain.

The needles are so thin that feeling them at all is unusual,,, after they've been inserted, that is. They aren't inserted very deeply, and I had NO bleeding whatsoever.

I 've never done it but I think you should give it a try AND let us know. If you have a positive attitude or open mind ,it may work better. Good luck!!!!!!

I tried it for a few months, but I noticed no difference in anything. I've heard it works for some, so give it a try, after all it is free to you.
