I´ve always worn briefs but thought I would try some cotton/lycra mix boxers just for a change. I wish I had changed earlier as I´m finding them much more comfortable.

I could never wear boxers ...... no support i'd end up siting on a gonad or get an erection from just swinging but the boxer brief was comfortable. Now i just wear briefs got to have things in place.

used to be boxer briefs, but they are too loose for my mental comfort. use briefs to prevent accidental physical injury and for peace of mind.

It all depends on what goes on top. Shorts or pajama type pants usually = comando, otherwise boxers. And no pants can be either, depending where I am and what i'm doing :wink05:

Yes, maybe this hybrid known as a "Boxer-Brief" isn't as popular in the UK. I actually had a flap surgery doctor recommend them as his option of choice over the other two, especially for those who have already had flap surgeries and compromised skin issues. The Boxer-Brief has a snug fit against the body that actually helps prevent wrinkles or gathering in material that may cause a potential problem like regular boxers could. And they're longer, unlike a regular brief, also preventing material from moving or chafing. I just wrote this as an explanation for a 4th, and missing option. Hey, Calvin Klein made them, and Marky Mark (Mark Wahlberg) was his first poster child in the 90's that helped launch the CK briefs.

All that said . . . . I prefer the old school boxers, switched 2 years after injury to cath more easily.

Not really briefs - Jockey Midways; to avoid pressure sores at the Ischial Tuberosities (sitting bones) which are quite prominent after 48 1/2 years.
