Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me with some advice or maybe experience about the Extremity Games motocross.
I'm an incomplete quad, back on a bike before I could walk (crashed a lot) and two years since I became disabled I entered
a race again. In South Africa we don't have racing events for disabled people so I'm racing with the "normal" people.
No need to say but I was out of my league, I've known about Extremity Games for a while and would really like to get
there next year.

I tried contacting the organisers but no response as of yet, I want to know what classes there are and if I could compete
in one of them. I can walk and I ride a bike that is not adapted, however I am not able to use my rear brake or get on the bike
by myself or start the bike.

Are there other racers competing that are like me and what class do they ride?
How do you register and enter?
Costs involved?

Looking forward to getting some info.

I don't know anything about it but, man, I'm impressed by your drive and obvious determination to get out there and get on!

Good luck to you and I hope you succeed and we hear more of your exploits. I for one would love to hear more of how you go so please keep posting here.
Impossible only describes a problem that needs viewed from a different perspective

Hey man, I actually live about 5 hours from one of the qualifying tracks for the Xgames where they race the addaptive superX. If you want to race you just show up and sign in like you would any normal race. I'm not sure if you need an AMA card, but I do believe it is an AMA track and located in central michigan. http://www.extremitygames.com/ that is the web address where you can get the info you need. I am planning on trying to qualify for the Xgames in 2015. Also check out ricky james website http://www.rickyjames824.com/home.html, I spoke with his dad and he has a great setup for your rear brake and air shifter and such. GL man, keep riding.
