Good news besides the additional surgery! Hang in there.. ;-)

How come I never get these "cute nurses" everybody talks about?
Glad to hear your doing good, have you found an escape route yet?
I hear they like it if you just wonder around the hospital :)

TT

I was so glad to see you on last night. I'm glad you can escape to cyber world for at least some relief from boredom. At least you haven't lost your flirting skills, they can always use a good workout. You may get the biggest flirt award before you get out. Be carefull and don't over do it, they may not let you go.lol

Hi Tex,

Here in Georgia, to shorten our hospital stays, our hospitals only employ ugly nurses...very ugly. Posted Image

Enjoy it while you can.

Where did you have your flap done? BCM in Houston? Im waiting to go to St. Davids in Austin, but I'm nervous. As a quad Im a little reluctant to be stuck on my belly for days or weeks. Isnt it uncomfortable? And how do you call for help? How long did you have to stay on your stomach?

I had mine down at Clear Lake Hospital.
you should be on your belly only for your surgery, then put on a clinitron low air loss sand bed for at least 1 month, then at least a month at home in bed while your skin heals & strengthens.
