will be travelling from UK . The world is my oyster-but just don't know where to start.
would love some recommendations of recent holidays you have been on.
I have travelled round France, Spain, a little of Italy and a couple of places in USA.

if I could go back to one place I have already visited it would be Cuba, I have not been since sci but the beach resorts would definitely be very accessible, not sure about Havana but I reckon a lot would be doable. We hired a car and travelled about a bit, very safe country with wonderful people.
Since sci I have been to Egypt (been several times before as used to work out there) Egypt was easy going, the Red Sea resorts would be easy, Cairo is like any big city, the newer places are fine, the older parts are tricky but the locals will generally help out. The area around the pyramids is accessible but forget trying to climb up the inside of the great pyramid, that was a challenge able bodied! I have also been to The Gambia, again out of the resorts it is a challenge but well worth the effort

Thanks-I fancied Cuba again -would like to do a week in Cuba and a week in Florida but don't know if you can hop from one to the other.
Maybe our american friends can help with that one.
I have been to one Cuban beach resort-but wouldn't want to spend more than a day there. Lying frying in the sun is not my idea of a holiday-so there would have to be things to do in the vicinity. Yes have been to Havana -but again at the small amount time we spent there it didn't look particularly accessible.
The hotel we styaed in was rubbish.
If anyone knows of a hotel in Havana that's accessible-please do let me know.

you def cannot travel between the US and Cuba! Thats the reason why they don't stamp your passport on entry or exit, that way the American never know!
I spent a week out of 3 in a beach resort and we did several trips out which included swimming with dolphins and an ocean cruise on a catamaran sail boat and another up a river, there was plenty to do besides frying on the beach. Also we spent 4 days up in the mountains on the way there!
