Has anyone here heard of the 'stem cell rejuvenation centre' in the US? I'm guessing quite a few ppl on this forum actually live in the US and can offer some local insight :)

Seriously though, I'm after actual information about the centre or any first hand experience with their treatments - I'M NOT concerned with opinions or the 'FDA approved/doesn't like' mantra!

Cheers!!!

@Super-Quad, this centre has only recently come up on the radar from an SCI community perspective. This is just another "X-Cell" type drop-in-clinic which will stick autologous adult mesenchymal stems cells into you intravenously or intrathecally whilst lightening your wallet to the tune of up to $10000.

There is no evidence that autologous mesenchymal stem cells (whether from adipose tissue or bone marrow) applied intravenously or intrathecally show any benefit. 1000s of patients pay huge sums of money at centres like these and they never commit to publishing scientific data. That alone should be enough for you to doubt them.

Check out this site:

I would argue that you hold onto your cash whilst legimate trials are underway - and there are quite a few of them now. See http://unite2fightpa.../clinicaltrials for more details on the human trials that are underway.

If you are from Australia, I would pay particular attention to the StepAhead organisation who I believe will be pivotal in curing paralysis.

Hello,
I have experienced them and recommend as well. I read a testimonial blog somewhere about an eye problem. I have learned that they have had some great results in a number of areas including spinal injury.

Also I recommend taking a look at

www.stem-cell-solutions.com.au

Site has a wealth of info and a free consult application form.
I got my help through them too.

I think it is just for autologous (your body) adipose (from fat) stem cell treatments.

They have a new forum on stem cells I saw on facebook
see forum.stem-cell-solutions.com.au

hope this is useful!

In australia there are a number of clinical trials relating Adult Stem Cell therapy and my understanding they have a price on clinical trials as well which match those from USA and the Philippines for instance.

The only problem with a clinical trial when you pay the top dollar is where is the double blind tests which would normally occur in a clinical trial.

I have more faith in Fat derived stem cells than an evasive surgery.

Getting the principal practice into ER is where I would like to see this in the near future.

Did you read it too?

Faith in fat-derived cells? Based upon what? Administration of autologous stem cells via intrathecal (lumbar puncture) or intravenous (blood stream) has NOT shown any efficacy in Spinal Cord Injury. Please do not make such recommendations without evidence.
