Hi,
Of course, of course, that would be great! can't wait to see you there.I just want to meet new people with a same interest and want to desperately show and sell my work. I never painted or could even draw until after my accident.

Depends on your definition of 'art'. When I get home I'll post something and let you decide.

Gimped For Life

One night at a late hour
I took off my cloths of and took a shower
Slipped and fell
Ended up hurting like hell
A few days later to my suprise
Getting to the hospital would be wise
For I could not move or feel
From my chest down to my heels
The next 17 months I went through hell
Trapped in a hospital
I'm out now, but through this strife
I sit here, gimped for life

I've learned both how to do ceramics on a wheel since I was hurt and blacksmithing. It's pretty cool to eat brekkie out of a bowl I created and drink from a mug I made.
Three years ago I took up blacksmithing. Last year I was the official Village Blacksmith for our Heritage Days fest. Even got my picture on the front page of the local paper! :blushing02: When folks asked why I was sitting on a turnable stool, I told them I was a lazy blacksmith. They could not see the belt that held me in the stool as it was under my leather apron.
Now I've got a fair following for my hand made tools and blades. Figure that the only limits are the ones that I set for meself.
