Can you lie on your stomach?

If so get your carrier to bend the leg back from the knee. It will probably be a struggle to start with but raise the leg up and down a few times until tone breaks. Then see how close they can get your foot to your but.

While your on your stomach you may as well stay there for a while as its a good way to stretch your hip flexors and stomach muscles..
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me, "Smile and be happy, things could be worse." So I smiled and was happy and behold things did get worse.

I get on my stomach and pull the foot toward my butt. Before i could get a hold on it my carer did it VERY SLOWLY.
Look! It's a snail! It's a sloth! Able to creep short distances before lunch!

I'm not a quad, but what they said...

Also what I do when I don't have someone to lift the leg to the back when I'm lying on my tummy, is by doing "push-ups", my back arcs and it stretches the quads and lower abs in a similar fashion (with the added bonus of working my arms and chest).. ;-)

What's important is not what happens to us, but how we react to what happens to us..

God gave us two ends, one to think with, n one to sit on.. Success depends on which one u use.. Heads u win, tails u lose..
