I have also just joined today and I'm learning to navigate the site, although I've been reading posts since January. Guess I didn't really believe all this had happened to me, but now I think I'd like to join in on the conversations.
Thanks for providing the opportunity to do so.

Welcome to the Forum! ;-)

Yes, getting used to the new reality is quite something! But coming here was the best thing you could've done! You'll find plenty friends, all willing to listen, and give advice when required..

See you around.. ;-)

Welcome Alaska One

That was very sneaky of you peaking around before jumping in. lol I will say that's probably a smart thing to do. Now, you know our personalities before we know yours. I'd say you're one smart cookie and about to learn more.

I've always wanted to ask an Alaskan resident if Northern Exposure was a true representation of life in Alaska. That was one of my favorite shows and even have it on DVD. I loved the cast! Did yall like it as much as we did or did yall think it was off the wall? Be honest.

Yeah, I wish I had found this site when I was in hospital for 6 months. It would have given me an anchor to keep hold of while trying to get my head around things. So jump in and enjoy.
