that looks great honestly! padded seat and open middle..love it and not too expensive! My "travel" shower chair costs like $800 and is not nearly as portable.

I just rented one for AuS trip..but it is hard plastic seat and bench style..

Hi yes I have one of these chairs and it is great, very light and comes with its own carry bag, very easy to use and so easy to carry about very strong too.
I would recomend them to any one that needs a travel toilt/shower chair that can transfer out of there chair easily.

I can take a look for you but to be honest when I was looking for one I found disabled gear to be the best to supply it I found others similar but without the folding arms,I believe the owner of disabled gear was in contact with the manufacturer and asked for the arms to be made this way.

just for info about disabledgear - there's a regular on these forums called Guido, who works for them. I've not used them yet, so can't vouch for their service, but all reports seem good.

I'm in the US and bought one. Guido shipped quickly. The chair is great..really removes all the concern and logistical problems of using an unfamiliar bathroom. Definately worth it.

I was in touch with Disabled Gear, Guy (Guido?) when I first found the chair but I postponed my order until after a scheduled surgery. He was very responsive to email questions and I would guess he could answer yours. Yesterday I went ahead and ordered the chair. I will let you know how I like it.

I don't think it is meant to move YOU. I believe it's a portable (with NO tools needed) shower chair...and possibly commode seat.

This seat + an inflatable ring for the toilet seat are both on MY wishlist. :specool:

I have one of these, which I just push over a standard toilet (obviously there has to be enough space around it for the wheels).. I use it to roll into my shower too, so no extra transfers..

Hi All,

Thanks for all the responses. I did order the chair and took my first overnight trip with it. I really like it. Not only does it function as a shower chair, but I use it for the BP as well. What I liked best is how unobtrusive it is; just another bag you take to your room.
