Hi am currently recovering from my second flap surgery. I have been in bed now for 5 weeks on a clinitron. So far everything is going really well. I am sitting up in bed. When i sit up I sit crooked, I was told due to my levels of injury. I put a lot more pressure down on my left side. I am currently using a ROHO high profile cushion and so far I really enjoy it and have not had any problems. (I got second wound from MRSA and osteomyelitis). I am just wondering if when I am able to start getting into my chair again if I should continue on with the ROHO or switch to the Isch Dish? Anyone out there who has experienced both cushions? Any advice on this matter or even a better cushion than these ones would be greatly helpful.

Thanks Apparelyzed world.

If you can try to get pressure mapped with both and see what looks best.

Hi dlury :)

I have used a high profile Roho and a Roho Quadtro and now am using the Isch Dish. I've used the Isch Dish for going on 3 years I think and I'm just thrilled with it. I bear quite a bit more weight on my right side so was getting sores on that IT. I add a little foam (about 1") to the right side (not in the cut-out area) to raise my right side up a bit - you just want to ensure your IT bones aren't hitting the base. How are you doing now?

Best wishes,

Laura :)
