The last few days I occasionally hear a light popping sound coming fromt the right side of my chair. It sounds like its coming from the castor. I also drift to the right when I'm rolling on a flat surface. Does that mean my bearings are going out in my right castor?

sound like it to me, my wife will complain that it gets harder to push herself to and like you said it will start to veer off to one side. Sportaid has all the replacement parts you will need!

Michael - yes! Mine was doing the same thing except it was the left castor popping. It about drove me crazy (and that is a short trip!). 
They can replace them really easy. I went to a wheelchair store (that ordered my chair) and they replaced them for free. Part of their service to their customers.

Is it easy to replace the bearings? Apparently the bearings are out of warranty, so I figured to replace them myself.

I got my bearings off of ebay only a few $ and just popped the old ones out and replaced them, very easy to do and i have spares in my tool box if you look at the bearings they are the same as kids scooter or inline skates if you wanted you can get some fast abec 9 rated lmao or spent 100s on ceramic ones then you would be flying lol.
