[Terrible Texan]

I've been tingling all over for while & dont know whats causing it, its all over my body. How many of u have or have had it & how'd u get rid of it

Medication, I was on Neurontin for a bit and then got some free Lyrica which I'm now taking. Both do the trick, I don't notice a single side effect.

thanks, that completely slipped my mind as a cause. i'm on several medicines now, so picking the one thats doing it will be difficult. maybe not so much though, after i leave hospital next week, i'm gonna stop all the meds. they put me on.

Yes I do, it me l-spine area when i need to go toilet. In me head at AD times. I rarely get it now.

Its the nerves for me.....Amitriptylin works well for me. I'm on Duloxetine too. Lyrica didnt do nothing.

And then theres the mind power i use, i think of a load of daisys that are tickel-ing me on the grass when i sit down in a field on a sunny day. Stops me thinking 'oooo i'm being attacked by a tens machine on full power..its horrid'. Stops negative images making the matter worse for me.

Are you talking about something sorta like Restless Leg Syndrome? That insane tingly feeling that climbs throughout your legs and won't stop for hours? I get that a lot, but have never tingled all over my body.

exactly, from head to toe. i stopped neuronrin to see if that was it, nope, it kept on & i startted getting stiff

You know all that tingling is coming from looking at too many pretty nurses!!Never thought I'd hear you complaining about that.


In the past, I've had that feeling if there is infection brewing somewhere. My skin starts feeling tight and tingly. Once the infection clears, the tingly feeling goes away. Ask them about your white blood count. If it's high, you've got an infection somewhere.

i'm on a strong antibiotic, (vancomiesin) it'll kill anything

I have it constantly below my injury level. I have just accepted it as a part of life now. Sometimes its worse than others but not unbearable. I was on Neurontin for the first 5 months but it didnt help at all. I have also heard about bad side affects from this drug like spinal tumors but dont quote me on that. Everyone I have talked to that is on Lyrica seems to love the drug and if it ever gets to the point to where I just cant take it anymore thats the drug I'm going to be trying out. I hope it gets better for you. Let me know how it turns out.
