Hey everyone, trying to see what the best treatment of clonus is as it's the worst its ever been. im on 5 mg valium 3 times a day, always stretching m calves. so far top treatments i hear of are clonazepam, PT, botox injections in the calves, and finally surgery. Been having a good time except for this, the night of the 4th of July we went to the beach and had to walk (i had to have someone push me the whole way while i would bend over and hold my legs since the clonus was just constant and violent all night). Then tried to do laundry for my mom, whom im staying with, couldnt keep the clothes on my lap just getting to the machines down the hall. It's embarrassing in public for sure. So, just thought i'd come here and vent about that. Going to see if i can make it down to the club house and exercise the arms some. Hope everyone's doing good. Thanks.

Hi Stickman, your situation sounds frustrating to the max. I use good old baclofen and it lessened clonus for me from the beginning. It may be there is something else wrong with your system and clonus is a symptom.

Get a FreeWheel. It really helps with the vibrations of surfaces which seem to make mine start. It's not 100% effective but it has really helped mine!
